Baby shower for my second baby?
I am pregnant with my second baby, a girl we just found out! My first child is a boy and is around 22 month old. We have his Crib And Changing Table and we got a dresser from a yard sale real cheap, but all the clothes, blankets and decor I have is blue and screams boy. I don't mind putting her in some of the boy onesies or sleepers, but I'd like her to have clothes for girls and a decor that is at least a little girly. Would it be tacky to have a second baby shower for the girl? If so then would it at least be ok to have a shower and say bring diapers and wipes?
I only ask because my mom wants to throw one for me and I don't want it to be tacky for me to accept another one for my second baby.
It is always ok to have a baby shower to celebrate any new baby, whether it be your first, second, or third. I would advise registering for the things you need this second time as opposed to leaving it up to peoples imaginations. Like you said, you have some things from last time. Celebrate your new baby though ! !
