Who has an easy way to change wood finish/color?

I got some beautiful second hand tables that are in great condition and only a few years old. The tables are a light honey oak finish and aren't my taste and don't match my mahogany furniture. Since the tables are in such good condition is there an easy way to darken them without refinishing or painting them? (I mean I don't really want to strip off the clear coat and finish and sand them down and then apply a base coat, a new stain, and top coat!) Thank you!
