Ideas for Baby Nursery colors?
ok so my furniture (crib/Changing Table/dresser) is expresso brown
i wanted to do chocolate brown at the bottom seperated w/ border and then pink on top
will that look dumb with expresso furniture pushed up againest a chocolate brown wall?
or should i do a light brown b/c expresso is very deep dark brown and then a lighter baby pink on top of that? i rlly like the chocolate color though and i can't trade in my expresso furniture so im really confused at what to do
any help would be great
(please dont tell me other colors i want brown and pink =) thanks though)
what im worried most is the furntire blending in w/ the wall
I think it sounds very pretty. I love the dark browns and pinks too. I think you may have a point about the dark furniture being too much up against the dark wall, it will definitely blend in. Maybe you could do a lighter brown at the bottom, pink on top, and have expresso colored wood seperating the two or a border in between (in the dark brown) to kinda tie it all together? Also, if you already have the bedding and other accessories, maybe you could incorporate some of those colors as well. For example, if there are 2 different shades of pink you could put the darker pink on bottom, lighter pink on top seperated by the dark brown in the middle.
I don't think i'd do the dark brown on top as suggested. I think that dark of brown all the way around the top half of the walls would be way too overpowering for a little girl's room.
