Is it illegal for someone drawing a total disabilty benefit from V A to Work or for an employer to hire them?
Ther is a person I know that spent a shot time in the navy. He was given a dishonorable discharge for drug possession. 30 years later he appealed the discharge and the status was changed to General Discharge.He immediately applied for a total disability for cirrosis of the liver and recieves a monthly check, free medicine (wich he sells to get money to buy crack). He spends his check on crack and alcohol.His family employs him under the table, in thier restaurant , to pay for his rent and utilities. This is unfair to other vetrans, but is it illegal and how can it be stopped if so?
if he were honest in most cases i've heard about its not but is up to the social worker themselves but in his case everything he is doing is illegal and it should be reported NOW
