On Sunday, he said on national television that to solve Social Security "everything's on the table," which of course means raising payroll taxes. On July 7 in Denver he said: "Senator Obama will raise your taxes. I won't."
This isn't a flip-flop. It's a sex-change operation.

The writer is in no way a liberal.
I saw that. I believe top conservative leadership in this country sees the writing on the wall and they know McCain and Bush and that whole corrupt machine has been rotting away the Republican Party and the conservative movement for years and now they are circling the wagons or getting into a defensive mode to preserve what's left for the future.
Real conservatives do not love what the Bush cabal has done to this country and to the conservative movement.
