Baby Registry Items and Brands??
I'm going to register at Target and BabysRUs because, well, that's where everyone typically registers! However, I wanted some advice on WHAT to register for, and what brands to avoid. I've bought a crib, a Changing Table, dresser, and crib bedding set. I was going to put a glider and daybed in her room as well.
I just don't have time to read all those reviews on bottles and diapers and such. I want to know what brands of bottles especially. I'm not sure how big they need to be, or if getting the ones with the curve are worth it (cause they are hard to fit in the diaper bags I bet) and which ones leak more than others!
Help is GREATLY appreciated!
I used Avent bottles for my son, and the bonus is that the pieces are interchangeable--the bottles connect to the breast pump, and there are different stages of nipples you can buy to control the flow. The nipples are silicone instead of rubber, so they last longer, don't crack, and don't smell after a couple of runs through the dishwasher. When your baby is old enough for a cup, they make sippy cups whose mouthpieces fit right onto the Avent bottles--it can make the transition to the cup a little easier.

As for diapers, I always like the Pampers Swaddlers and Huggies Supreme. Don't get too many in the newborn size, and open the packages only as you need them, so you can exchange them for a bigger size if your baby outgrows them quickly.
