What will I need to get in preparation for baby? Nursery wise mainly...?
I have a swing, a stroller, and a carseat for up to 22 pounds. I have two blankets and enough onesies for the first 3-6 months....
We plan on baby sleeping with us in our room for awhile, so should I get a little Bassinet? We have a crib, just needs to be brought to us.
Is a Changing Table necessary? I dont mind just laying down a blanket on the floor....thats how I'm used to it anyhow.
How big of a dresser will I need?
Anyhow, please let me know if there is anything I'm missing, or anything out there that might make my life easier....I'm a new mom to be!! I'm just turning 19 weeks in, so I dont have everything just yet, but I am ready to nest!
When my son was a newborn I needed lots of clothes and blankets because he was always peeing through his diapers or spitting up. There were some days that I had to change his clothes and blankets 2 or 3 times a day. Be prepared to do a lot of laundry:) The Changing Table is totally up to you but I loved having one plus it had shelves under it that was great for storage of diapers, burp clothes,etc. I had a small dresser that had 4 little drawers. I would definitely get a Bassinet if the babys sleeping in your room, they are very helpful. One more thing I had that I loved was a pack n play which is a portable crib. I kept it in the living room for his naps so I could be close to him plus it packs right up to a small size. Well I could probably go on forever about things that are helpful but I think this is a good start. Good Luck!
