The ReStore is a division of B/CS Habitat for Humanity, a non-profit, ecumenical organization dedicated to eliminating poverty housing.  We recycle overstocked items, used, discontinued, and salvageable building materials donated by businesses and individuals.  Donated items are used to build decent houses for low-income families or re-sold to the general public to help finance our building projects.

Benefits of Donating
Donations benefit the environment as usable building materials are diverted from landfills.  The community benefits as items are sold to the general public or used in Habitat homes.  The construction industry benefits by avoiding costly landfill tipping fees for usable materials.  Businesses save storage costs while clearing out discontinued items and old stock.  Construction and business donations are often tax deductible.

Used Materials
Because current local building codes do not allow the use of many used materials in the construction of new homes, used materials are sold in our ReStore located at 2211 Maloney in Bryan. The ReStore offers new and used building materials at discount prices, which allow home-owners, particularly low income families, to make repairs or renovations at a reasonable cost, thus helping to improve housing conditions in B/CS.
